Quartz, Unknowns

This five inch piece of quartz is my prize specimen from this locality. It has all the different fluorescent material , found there, in a translucent piece of quartz. The translucence allows individual mineral grains to be easily seen.

There are five colors in this piece. A lower zone of yellow material is cut by the green mineral. Above that is a zone of rosy-peach material. And the piece is frosted with the blue and purple fluorescent minerals.
