Quartz, Unknowns
This six inch piece of quartz has a wide band of fluorescent blue mineral which grades into a yellow to white fluorescent material. A little purple fluorescent material can be seen on one end.
I haven't visually identified most of the unique fluorescent minerals from this locality. Most of them were formed in the contact between the pegmatite and a highly altered serpentinite. The amount of material is small, often admixed with quartz.
